The Titanic- Who is to Blame?
There is a lot of talk about who is to blame for tragedy of the Titanic. Personally, I do not think there is one person to blame , but if I had to pick one person it would be Captian Smith. The captian of the Titanic didn't slow down the ship knowing that there was icebergs. If I was a passenger, I would be extremely angry. Also, I would be saved, but there was thousands who died and lost there life. If I was the captian of that ship, I would feel so bad and guilty. So if any one person would be blamed, it would be the captian. Yes, the captian should be forgiven, but he should feel a little bit of guilt.

"He sought my pity, but had he any right to pity? Did a man of his kind deserve anybody's pity?"
"He sought my pity, but had he any right to pity? Did a man of his kind deserve anybody's pity?"
Everyone deserves pity and forgiveness. The dying Nazi said " I cannot die. . . without coming clean. This must be my confession." At least that the dying man is trying to get things off of his chest before he dies. He seeks pity and he seeks for someone to say you are forgiven. The dying Nazi also said, " I want to die in peace, and so I need. . ." Just because one person does not forgive him, does that mean that he should die? I mean we have all made mistakes in this world, but no matter how bad the situation, he deserves to die peacefully. It is not fair to the dying man to die when he was forced to do all those bad things that he did. Yes they were bad, but people do not need to hold grudges and it should not result in death. He wants to be forgiven so he can die peacefully. Forgiveness: Everyone needs forgiveness. He repented and yet he just needs the understanding. Pity. The compassion feeling for others needs to shine through and forgive this man because we have all done terrible things that need and deserve to be forgiven.
