Forgiveness

A teenager that takes their own life to escape adolescent pressures should be forgiven. In the book 13 Reasons Why, a teenage girl my age killed herself and blamed thirteen different people for her death. Many teenagers have killed themselves for all kinds of pressures put on them from other teenagers and even their own parents. Even though that teenagers comit suicide, people shouldn't hold grudges. They should forgive them just like God forgives us for our sins. Yes, I agree that it is wrong to kill yourself, but it happens all the time and they should be forgiven.

  1. I agree with your response, and I believe every year there is a huge amount of teens taking their life due to everyday pressures encountered.
Do you think the people blamed, should be forgiven if they haven't repented?

  2. I like your connection to the book "13 Reasons Why." And also I am curious to know your answer to Pablo's question, especially since you made references to God and his ability to forgive everyone. Most Christian people believe though that suicide is the one sin that cannot be forgiven though since you are unable to ask for forgiveness after the act. Are you saying that you disagree with that viewpoint?

  3. i agree with you. Yes, God forgives people when they sin. Its not right for other people not pressure people into doing stuff. They are making these people think that if you dont do what they want then you are not cool or whatever which lowers their self esteem. That makes them want to do some bad things. They should be fogiven cause half of its not their fault, but then half it is their fault.
